Earlier this year, UCB was lucky enough to have the opportunity to join a consortium of bands supporting a new work for symphonic wind ensemble called Symphony #1: H2O by Matt Klohs. UCB has had the privilege of working with Matt a few times before in Maestros with a Mission and we are delighted that in mid-August, we will be performing this work with Matt at the podium. The symphony, inspired by water and its many forms, is a aural feast.

During this concert, we will also be performing works that we intend to present at the 2022 South Australian Band Championships including works by Toshio Mashima, Arturo Marquez and Jess Langston-Turner. It’s going to be a concert NOT TO BE MISSED!
