Last Sunday, members of the band performed a twilight concert of small ensemble and solo music in the beautiful St Johns Anglican Church in Halifax Street. The appreciative audience was treated to Japanese flute music, Queen classics by a saxophone sextet, a 1600s Allegri psalm by a clarinet ensemble, piano and saxophone solos and duets and even a Metallica song performed by a low brass quartet.
